KVÅ (Klassifikation av vårdåtgärder) is the Swedish national classification of healthcare interventions, maintained by Socialstyrelsen (the National Board of Health and Welfare). It is used alongside ICD-10-SE for diagnosis coding. KVÅ encompasses two sub-classifications: KKÅ (surgical procedures, 3 letters + 2 digits, e.g. AAA00) and KMÅ (medical procedures, 2 letters + 3 digits, e.g. UA001).

Filter by sub-classification

In addition to filtering by code (see Code filtering), KVÅ codes can be filtered by klassifikation to restrict predictions to one sub-classification. Use op: "in" to specify which sub-classifications to include:
Filtering supports the following klassifikation values:
  • KVÅ-kirurgiska åtgärder (KKÅ) (surgical procedures: 3 letters + 2 digits)
  • KVÅ-medicinska åtgärder (KMÅ) (medical procedures: 2 letters + 3 digits)
